libmath-gradient-perl software package provides module for calculating smooth numerical transitions, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libmath-gradient-perl
libmath-gradient-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libmath-gradient-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libmath-gradient-perl *
You will get with libmath-gradient-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
